In 2013, 10-year old Kendall Stevens wrote about her dream of opening an animal rescue called Hearts Alive Village. When her mother, Christy, read about her daughter’s dream, she was determined to make it a reality.
In 2014, Hearts Alive Village obtained 501(c)(3) status, which allowed our impact to truly begin.
Unfortunately, since 2014, as veterinary costs have skyrocketed, thousands of Southern Nevada residents have been faced with the terrible reality of struggling to care for their pet.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we operate two low-cost vet clinics, an everyday adoption center, a cat café, a veterinary forensics program, veterans support programs, a pet food bank, and much more.
Mission: To nurture a compassionate society where pets are supported in their homes and on their journey to find a new home.
Our program partners help fund HAV’s life-saving mission with grants that positively impact our community. Please visit their websites to see how these generous companies are making a difference for homeless pets. To find out how you can partner with us email info@heartsalivevillage.org
