Want to make a difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them? At Hearts Alive Village, our volunteers are everyday heroes who help rescue, care for, and rehome animals in need.
There’s a Role for Everyone
Whether you’re a people person, an animal lover, or a behind-the-scenes superstar, we’ve got a spot for you! Volunteer opportunities include:
- Cat Cafe – Socialize with our cats while ensuring our Cafe remains clean
- ReTreat – Help reduce kennel stress by playing with and walking our dogs while they await their new home
- Everyday Adoption Center- Walk dogs and assist with basic cleaning
- Pet Food Pantry – Distribute pet food to families in need
- Transport Team – Give animals a ride to safety or appointments
- Events & Outreach – Represent HAV in the community
Individual Volunteering
Looking to give back on your own time? We welcome individuals aged 16 and up (or 13+ with a parent/guardian) to volunteer in a variety of roles. We offer flexible shifts, training, and a supportive team environment where your passion makes a real difference.
Group Volunteering
Looking for a meaningful team-building opportunity? We love hosting corporate groups, student organizations, scout troops, and community clubs!
Assist with:
- Dog walking and socializing
- Assisting at our Cat Cafe
- Facility clean-up and beautification
- Creating enrichment toys for our animals
- Packing supplies for our food pantry
